The Position:
AmeriCU Credit Union is in search of a Mortgage Closing Coordinator who aligns directly with our mission to provide our members with the right financial services to live life, dream big, and achieve financial success, and our vision to be the most admired organization in every community we serve. The person in this role will lead, direct and supervise all daily Financial Center sales operations and staff within established policies and guidelines that support and further the goals of the credit union and the strategic objectives.
What You’ll Do:
As a Mortgage Closing Coordinator your primary responsibilities will include:

Prepare closing disclosures with accuracy and in compliance of federal and state guidelines.

Create closing packages and collect documentation for final review of loan files.

Analyze tax bills & insurance policies to calculate proper escrow balance collection.

Prepare and execute the transfer of lender and investor funds for disbursement and funding.

Engage legal outlets for closing services while coordinating and updating the closing calendar.

Enter data on loan closing documents in a timely manner to ensure closing deadlines and delivery dates are met according to various critical expiration dates.

Review all closing conditions to ensure they are satisfied and executed according to closing instructions.

Administer the loan funding, suspension accounts and transmitting of loan detail on internal systems and to external vendors (i.e., accounting, DMI, systems, investors).

Confirm loan compliance with all state and federal regulations and policies, as well as investor/mortgage lending product and program guidelines.

Ensure all information is correct and signed accurately in the closing documentation, third party orders, closing packages, and loan files.
