The Position:
AmeriCU Credit Union is in search of a Member Relationship Advisor III who aligns directly with our mission to provide our members with the right financial services to live life, dream big, and achieve financial success, and our vision to be the most admired organization in every community we serve. As a Member Relationship Advisor III you will provide professional and quality service that exceeds member expectations. Evaluate member needs to provide the right financial products and services. Develop, manage, expand and retain relationships with members and potential members. Educate and prepare members for financial success.
What You’ll Do:
As a Member Relationship Advisor III your primary responsibilities will include:
Strategic & Operational Impact
- Understands and aligns daily responsibilities with AmeriCU’s Strategic Plan
- Prioritizes and coordinates initiatives that enhance member experience, streamline operations, reduce expenses, and drive sales
Coaching & Team Support
- Provides on‑the‑job coaching for new and experienced Member Relationship Advisors
- Fosters teamwork and motivates staff to achieve performance goals
Member Service & Financial Wellness
- Delivers knowledgeable and professional financial wellness reviews
- Builds member financial fitness through retention, expansion, and acquisition of personal and commercial accounts
- Develops strong partnerships across business lines to deepen member relationships and support member acquisition
Sales & Business Development
- Utilizes a consultative sales approach to identify member needs and recommend beneficial products
- Interprets credit bureau reports to identify cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities
- Proactively manages a book of business through outreach, referrals, appointments, and field activity
- Consistently meets or exceeds assigned sales and service goals
Lending Expertise
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of lending procedures
- Specializes in Mortgage and Home Equity loans and Lines of Credit
- Supports lending goals with accurate, error‑free loan documentation
Branch & Operational Support
- Assists with branch operations, including teller line support when needed
- Maintains adherence to all compliance, operational, and risk requirements, including BSA and SAFE Act standards
Community Engagement
- Actively participates in community involvement and engagement efforts
