Starting Salary: $66,964.91 to $83,706.13/annually, actual pay will be based on experience.

The Position:
Consistent with the credit union mission of providing our members the right financial services to live life, dream big and achieve financial success, the Small Business Relationship Manager will: Focus on acquiring new members by promoting and selling credit union products and services. Expand existing credit union business member relationships by cross selling business products and services, deepening deposit relationships, and encouraging product usage. Collaborate with Financial Center personnel as the subject matter expert while making joint calls on existing and prospective members in order to grow the credit union’s business memberships. Maintain relationships with strategic centers of influence, but internal and external, in order to effectively deepen the member experience as their trusted advisor.
As a Small Business Relationship Manager your primary responsibilities will be to:
Engage Prospective Members
- Actively participate in outside sales calls, listening to prospective members to uncover needs and recommend the right products and services.
- Build strong relationships in the community by cross‑selling, networking, and promoting AmeriCU’s full suite of offerings.
Collaborate & Grow Together
- Attend Financial Center meetings to deliver business services updates, lead training, and provide coaching that enhances sales and service outcomes.
- Conduct joint calls to strengthen consultative selling skills across the team.
Support Business Borrowers
- Request, review, and evaluate information from business borrowers to help initiate underwriting processes.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with current business members to identify additional cross‑sell opportunities and generate new business.
Expand Community Partnerships
- Participate in internal training sessions and external events to develop Centers of Influence (COI) and referral pipelines.
- Offer guidance to teammates on strategies and tactics that support AmeriCU’s business development goals.
Drive Business Growth
- Proactively develop business relationships by facilitating new deposit accounts, cash management solutions, merchant services, insurance, wealth management, and other financial services.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of SBA SOP guidelines and various SBA programs.
