Member Service Representative – AmeriCU Credit Union (Rome, NY)
AmeriCU Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Representative who is passionate about delivering exceptional member experiences and building meaningful relationships. As a Member Service Representative, you’ll play a key role in supporting our mission of helping members live life, dream big, and achieve financial success.
What You’ll Do as a Member Service Representative
- Welcome and assist members in a professional, friendly, and engaging manner aligned with our MVP-1 Team culture
- Serve as a primary contact for members, supporting both ITM technology interactions and traditional teller transactions
- Build relationships by identifying member needs and referring appropriate credit union products and services
- Conduct outreach through courtesy calls and in-person interactions to retain, expand, and acquire member relationships
- Partner with internal teams to support member growth and deepen existing relationships
- Meet or exceed performance and service goals
- Support onboarding and training for new hires within the financial center; may assist at other locations as needed
- Accurately document member interactions in the CRM system
- Perform account servicing and maintenance with attention to detail
- Maintain compliance with all regulations and policies, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and SAFE Act requirements
- Actively participate in community engagement initiatives
