The Impact You'll Make
Join Danfoss Drives in Oragadam and help bring reliable, high-quality drive technologies to customers around the world. In this role, you will support the testing and validation of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), helping ensure products meet performance and approval requirements before reaching the market.
Working closely with engineers in a hands-on laboratory environment, you will contribute directly to product quality, safety, and continuous improvement through testing, prototype preparation, and accurate documentation.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Support engineers with product and approval testing to help deliver reliable drive solutions
- Prepare drives and test setups to enable accurate and efficient validation activities.
- Assemble and solder prototype units to support development and testing needs.
- Document test results clearly and accurately to support product quality and compliance.
- Maintain an organized laboratory environment, including material handling, scrap management, and 5S practices to ensure safe and efficient operations.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE).
- Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and their operation.
- Experience supporting the testing of VFDs in a laboratory, manufacturing, or engineering environment.
- Ability to use electrical tools, measuring instruments, and perform soldering and desoldering activities safely.
- Understanding of power connections, material handling, scrap management, and 5S workplace practices.
