The Impact You'll Make
- Collaborate with IT, Engineering, and Operations to deliver support to automation systems across the site, specially in MES, to ensure stable operation
- Specify, design, document, develop, validate, and maintain automation systems including PC, HMIs, SCADA, MES, and other systems for manufactuing and data integrity requirements.
- Development of maintenance SOPs for new and existing software systems. Prepare user requirements specifications (URS) and approve designs and execution
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Provides application management including developing, installing, configuring, upgrading, administering, monitoring and maintaining the manufacturing applications to keep them in a usable state, ensuring they are correct, consistent and available at all required times
2.Develop best practices across the following disciplines: in process test/instrumentation; process automation; data acquisition; SCADA; MES
3. Design, program, test and maintain control panels, logic, and graphics to meet production requirements
4. Concept development, prototype testing, engineering design, and collaboration with 3rd parties on system build, integration testing, project management, implementation, and handoff to operations.
5. Support advanced trouble-shooting and improvement of existing MES systems
6. Create new report template and/or improve the current tempate according to the business requirements from the database
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management or equivalent
- 5+ years of delivery experiences, business development in industrial practice and development of MES solutions
- Familiar with manufacturing applications and services, such as MES systems(Siemens IT, OP Center, SAP ME or other relevant solutions), MS-SQL, ..etc.
- Working knowledge of relational databases and web services.
- An interest in and understanding of manufacturing concepts is desirable. An applications development background will be highly regarded.
- Working Knowledge/experience about the relationship between MES systems and ERP/SCADA/PLC
