By enabling real-time monitoring and insights, you will help customers reduce food waste, optimize energy consumption, and support their sustainability goals.
This is an opportunity to influence platform architecture, work with modern technologies, and contribute to solutions that create measurable value for customers while supporting Danfoss' commitment to a more sustainable future.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and build scalable backend services in Rust and Go to support real-time edge computing solutions.
- Develop reliable messaging and connectivity capabilities using MQTT to ensure seamless device communication and data flow.
- Own features from architecture and development through deployment and production support to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Create APIs and integration solutions that connect field devices with cloud-based services and applications.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and field teams to continuously improve platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with development experience with strong proficiency in Rust and/or Go.
- Extensive hands-on experience with MQTT and real-time messaging systems.
- Proven expertise in designing and deploying microservices in Edge environments.
- Ability to take ownership of solutions throughout the full development lifecycle.
- Professional English communication skills for collaboration and technical documentation.
- A "Let's get it done" mindset—you take initiative, solve problems, and make things happen.
- End-to-end ownership—you own the entire product, from code, tests, and CI/CD pipelines to reliability and delivering a great user experience.
What You'll Get from Us
- A lot of learning, genuinely hard technical problems, real autonomy, and a tight feedback loop with actual customers.
- Opportunities to build your career at Danfoss. We run many software products and actively support people who want to grow, move between teams, and build new things.
