At Danfoss Climate Solutions, we are driving the transition toward more sustainable and energy-efficient solutions. As our Global Inventory Manager (m/f/d), you will ensure the right products are available at the right time across our global network, balancing customer service, working capital, and operational efficiency.
Working within a global supply chain organization, you will take ownership of inventory strategy and performance across regions and sites. Through data-driven decision-making, process standardization, and cross-functional collaboration, you will help optimize inventory, support business growth, and strengthen supply chain performance.
As part of a business experiencing significant global expansion, you will have the opportunity to shape best practices, drive continuous improvement, and make a visible impact on our customers and our business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and drive the global inventory strategy, performance management, and inventory optimization agenda across regions and sites.
- Monitor inventory performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement actions that balance service levels, inventory investment, and cost.
- Standardize inventory processes, develop data-driven reporting, and lead cross-functional initiatives that strengthen global supply chain performance.
- Develop and enhance reporting tools and dashboards (Excel, Power BI) to support data-driven decision-making and inventory optimization.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in inventory management within a multinational, multi-site manufacturing or supply chain environment.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence stakeholders, and drive results in a global matrix organization.
- Strong analytical and business acumen, including the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights using tools such as Excel and Power BI.
- Experience working with S&OP/SIOP planning processes; knowledge of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) is an advantage.
- A proactive, structured, and self-driven approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-growing and evolving global environment.
What You'll Get from Us
- We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
- You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.
- We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected, and valued for who they are.
- You’ll receive benefits like annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about—we think they’re pretty great.
