The Impact You'll Make
As our new Key Account Manager – Sensing Solutions, you will play a key role in accelerating business growth across the South region by developing strategic customers, expanding market reach, and translating customer needs into sustainable commercial opportunities.
In addition, you will lead business development initiatives across India for Sensing Solutions within the Data Center and HVAC segments, developing new opportunities, building strategic customer relationships, and strengthening our position in these key growth markets.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and grow sales with identified strategic key accounts across the South region, build strong relationships and identifying opportunities for sustainable growth.
- Build and manage a high-quality opportunity pipeline, introducing relevant Sensing Solutions products and solutions aligned with customer applications and needs.
- Drive business development activities across India for the Data Center and HVAC segments, identifying new customers, applications and growth opportunities to strengthen our position in these strategic markets.
- Develop and execute plans to expand channel business and market coverage, working closely with channel partners to increase penetration across targeted markets.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends and the competitive landscape, translating insights into future business and portfolio opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to position Sensing Solutions effectively, support customer development and drive energy-efficient solutions with meaningful industry impact.
What We're Looking For
- 12+ years of experience in sales, key account management or business development within sensors, automation or industrial products.
- 3+ years of experience in Data Center and/or HVAC applications, with a track record of developing customers and new business opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in key account and channel development, with a strong commercial and customer-focused mindset.
- Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across customers and internal teams.
- Willingness to travel regularly for customer engagement and market development.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, SAP, BI tools, PPAP and quality management systems.
