JOB SUMMARY: The Associate Director of Global Accounts is responsible for leading a team of Global Account Managers who manage customers in the electronics industry with large, multi-site manufacturing operations around the world. This role is pivotal in managing and coaching professional sales managers, building strong commercial and technical relationships with our largest customers, and driving the execution of robust sales processes through data analytics and performance metrics.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):
• Apply knowledge and experience within the electronics industry to enhance customer engagement and business growth
• Manage, mentor, and coach a team of Global Account Managers to achieve and exceed sales targets
• Develop and maintain strong commercial and technical relationships with our largest global customers
• Collaborate with regional sales leaders to develop and implement strategies to maintain current business and secure incremental business. Develop and execute price and price increase strategies to maximize profit and volume
• Influence on the global sales organization and strategies as a member of the Global Sales Leadership Team
• Utilize a robust sales process, leveraging data analytics and performance metrics to drive decision-making and strategy
• Conduct regular analysis and reporting to senior leadership on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives
• Engage in regular international travel to meet with global customers and regional sales teams.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, or a related field is required; MBA or advanced degree is preferred
• 10+ years of sales experience
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role
• Proven experience and relationships within the electronics industry
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Expertise in building commercial and technical relationships
• Proficient in utilizing sales processes, data analytics, and performance metrics
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Must live in close proximity to a major airport in the USA to facilitate frequent international travel
• Ability to understand and navigate complex technical sales environments
• Strong capability to analyze data and derive actionable insights for business growth
• Provide own source of transportation for any local/day travel, including travel between Indium Corporation facilities

The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the range for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, and internal equity.

$100,000 - $170,000 annually
