JOB SUMMARY: The Warehouse Technician I is responsible for moving and recording the movement of material throughout a facility.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):
• Operate material handling equipment as required to stock or pull material
• Document transactions of materials within ERP system
• Comply with stockroom safety and insurance requirements
• Transport materials from storage to designated areas
• Stock supplies
• Partner with EHS personnel to ensure chemicals are properly segregated, secured and stored
• Ensure waste is processed according to requirements and done within expected timeframes
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; work related experience may be considered in lieu of education
• Ability to operate material handling equipment including lift truck
• Ability to frequently walk and/or stand
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
SITE/SHIFT:
Utica, NY: 111 Business Park Drive, Utica, NY; Monday - Friday; 1st shift: 7:00am-3:30pm
WAGE DISCLOSURE:
The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the range for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, and internal equity.
The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package. Other components include health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, retirement plan, volunteer opportunities, paid holidays, overtime opportunities, and many more.
$16.50 per hour - $20.00 per hour
($33,000 - $41,500 annually)
