JOB SUMMARY:
The Draftsman/CAD Operator will be proficient with the use of AutoCAD. Under the direction of the Senior Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Project Engineer, the draftsman will create preliminary planning, sketches and final approval plans for mechanical, industrial or engineering sketches.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):
• Operate CAD Programs
• Demonstrate proficiency with CAD and Microsoft Office Systems to create various drawings, schematics or informational documents
• Create, modify, store and retrieve CAD drawings and related files
• Correlate CAD files and manage effective file maintenance discipline
• Maintain CAD drawing file log as outlined by maintenance and engineering departments
• Work with engineering and safety departments as needed
• Advance multiple projects simultaneously
• Uphold the standards necessary to maintain our business certifications and to maintain good quality standards and practices associated with them
• Manage minor projects utilizing knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of technical plans, drawings and models
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering field (mechanical engineering, drafting and design or related field) or
• 3-5 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
• An in-depth knowledge of drafting procedures, drawing techniques and ISO standards
• Strong computer and math skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft suite of products

WAGE DISCLOSURE:
The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the range for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, and internal equity.
The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package. Other components include health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, retirement plan, volunteer opportunities, paid holidays, overtime opportunities, and many more.
$25.00 per hour - $39.00 per hour
($33,520 - $59,280 annually)
