JOB SUMMARY: The Receptionist is responsible for ensuring all calls are being routed to the appropriate department for assistance, in addition to supporting Inside Sales and Sales Administration. This role is responsible managing front-desk operations, handling incoming communications, and providing general administrative support to ensure smooth daily office operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):

• Greet visitors in a professional and friendly manner

• Manage visitor sign-in procedures and notify hosts promptly

• Answer and route incoming phone calls accurately and efficiently

• Respond to general email inquiries or route them appropriately

• Provide administrative assistance to the Sales team, including maintaining customer records, data entry, sorting and reviewing invoices and customer statements

• Sort and organize incoming mail for distribution

• Coordinate with internal departments to support daily operations

• Back up security desk as needed

• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED required

• 2 years of experience in a receptionist, customer service, or administrative role; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to relay information clearly to both customers and internal staff

• Efficient typing skills with strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

• Familiarity with general office machines (scanners, printers, etc.) and the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

• Ability to work independently, prioritize and complete a wide variety of assignments while contributing to a collaborative team environment

• Provide own source of transportation for any local/day travel, including travel between Indium Corporation facilities

WAGE DISCLOSURE:

The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the range for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, and internal equity.

The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package. Other components include health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, retirement plan, volunteer opportunities, paid holidays, overtime opportunities, and many more.

$16.50 per hour - $20.00 per hour

($34,000 - $41,600 annually)
