JOB SUMMARY: The Cleaner/Groundskeeper is responsible for plant housekeeping as well as groundskeeping.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):

• Maintain inventory and ensure cleanliness and proper stocking of cleaning supplies, restrooms, and cafeteria areas

• Clean floors, walls, and windows throughout the facility

• Empty trash, cardboard, and recyclables for facility

• Perform general groundskeeping such as grass cutting and snow removal

• Change light bulbs and batteries

• Assist with interoffice deliveries and mail as needed

• Clean equipment and work areas as required

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Clean assigned areas as required by training

• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED

• General housekeeping knowledge

• Good organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Provide own source of transportation (car or truck) for any local/day travel, including travel between Indium Corporation facilities

SHIFT/SITE:

Monday-Friday/ 2nd shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm / 5836 Success Drive, Rome, NY 13440

WAGE DISCLOSURE:

The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the range for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, and internal equity.

The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package. Other components include health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, retirement plan, volunteer opportunities, paid holidays, overtime opportunities, and many more.

$17.00 per hour - $20.00 per hour

($35,360 - $41,500 annually)
