Supports and implements behavior plans created by a BCBA for residential and school settings. Provides ABA interventions to build communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills; promotes best practice, proactive/preventative strategies, independence, inclusion, individuality, productivity, and self-advocacy. Responsibilities: Provide direct care in 1:1 and group settings; develop and implement data tracking tools; monitor objectives; collect and report data; lead social skills and play groups; provide behavior-related education/support to staff (orientation, in-services, SCIP-R). Required: HS diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years’ experience working with people with disabilities. Certifications: Valid NYS driver’s license; RBT certification from BACB within 6 months of hire. Pay: $18/hour without RBT; $20/hour with RBT certification.
