Pathfinder School is seeking a full-time and a per diem classroom aide. The classroom aide provides direct instructional or residential support services to children individually and in small groups under the general supervision of the special education teacher during school hours, and to the house manager when working residentially. Classroom aides are a part of a team working to support children in their instructional and residential program. As such, they are expected to support and assist in the general operation of the classroom or house. The classroom aide supports students to become more independent in the areas of academics, communication, behavior management, pre-vocational training, and other areas of daily living skills.- Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm OR 7:30am to 3:30pm- Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.The hourly rate of pay starts at $16.75 an hour and is commensurate with experience.
