The Farmstead Market Manager is responsible for leading daily operations and cultivating a warm, welcoming, and purpose-driven environment. This role blends retail leadership, team development, and mission integration to ensure that every guest interaction reflects who we are: a community-centered market where people of all abilities thrive. Some responsibilities include:- Manage inventory, pricing, merchandising, and vendor relationships- Lead and support a diverse team, including individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)- Collaborate with program staff to align operations with prevocational and workforce development goals- Monitor sales performance, labor, and operational efficiency- Support budgeting, forecasting, and revenue growth strategies- Identify opportunities to increase sales through merchandising and experience- Maintain accurate reporting and accountability for daily operations Qualifications- Retail, hospitality, or food market management experience- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills- Valid NYS license without restrictions Rate of pay starts at $23 an hour and is commensurate with experience.
