Responsible for ensuring that all areas of food preparation in the Central Kitchen, housekeeping duties, and Cooper Transport services have been accomplished on a daily basis. Duties include: Providing meals for school students and day staff; providing management, supervision, assignments, guidance, and direction to staff within the dietary department in the absence of the Ancillary Team Leader; ensuring all NYS Health Department regulations are continuously met; assisting with inventory and supply ordering for housekeeping and dietary; management of on-the-job training of new staff, prevocational participants, and interns, including ongoing professional development and evaluations; overseeing meals, refreshments, services, and staffing for special events. Required Qualifications: 1+ year’s experience in food service, long term or acute care dietary is preferred; High school diploma or equivalency; Valid NYS driver’s license. The hourly rate of pay starts at $18 an hour and is commensurate with experience.
