The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will be responsible for supporting and implementing residential and school student behavior plans created by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. The RBT provides ABA interventions that encourage socially acceptable replacement behaviors so individuals can build and improve upon their communication, social interactions, and problem solving skills. Responsibilities: Provide direct program participant care in one-on-one and group settings. Develop and implement data collection tracking tools. Monitor short-term and long-term objectives. Collect and report on collected data. Lead and organize social skills and play groups. Provide behavior related education and support to staff, including orientation teaching, staff in-services, and SCIP-R instruction. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years experience working with people with disabilities. Required Certifications: Valid NYS driver's license. Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from BACB within 6 months of Hire. Hourly rate of pay is $18 for a hire without RBT certification, $20 an hour for certified RBTs. Located in Edmeston, NY.
