- High school or GED required. Graduation from an accredited technical/vocational program or school preferred.
- Three (3) years’ experience in maintenance and/or construction.
- Working knowledge of methods, materials, tools and practices used in plumbing, carpentry and electrical trades.
- Knowledge of standard practices, processes and material involved in trades related to building maintenance.
- Ability to quickly troubleshoot maintenance issues.
- Knowledge of plumbing and HVAC/electrical systems, boilers, and power generators.
- Strong judgment and reasoning abilities.
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with employees, customers, vendors and tenants.
- Ability to work extended hours and be on-call, as needed.
- Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software and e-mail applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word; have the aptitude to learn other computer software as necessary.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a safe manner.
- Meet the requirements to drive Springbrook vehicles as required.
