Position Summary
The Recruitment Manager is responsible for leading our talent acquisition efforts. The recruiting manager is responsible for developing and executing recruiting strategies, managing the hiring process, recruitment for Springbrook Partners and supervising the recruitment team. The Recruitment Manager will collaborate with department heads to understand workforce requirements and implement best hiring practices.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and Mentor recruitment team, providing training, guidance and supervision.
- Analyze the information provided on a prospective employee's application form.
- Determine the suitability of the applicant for employment.
- Performs further background / reference investigation, i.e., prior employment references, fingerprints, transcripts, etc. to gain adequate information on which to base a selection decision.
- Take into consideration previous experience, education, etc.
- An approximate number of full-time employees will terminate during the course of a year; the objective is to replace these lost employees as quickly and economically as possible.
- Follow up with the related clerical aspects of employment, such as completing new hire forms, notifying the department of employee's starting date and creating roster for Training and Development, etc.
- Recruiter will support one or several departments for staffing needs.
- Act as liaison with area employment agencies, preparation and liaison with advertising agencies, processing and checking advertising agency billings, liaison with temporary agencies, recording status of authorized positions within the corporations, employment verifications.
- Conduct pre-boarding process and I9 review.
- Responsible for HR process and procedure compliance with industry regulations including but not limited to OPWDD, SED and OCFS.
- Regular audits of hiring compliance.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of hiring strategies.
- Maintain and develop strategic recruitment plans to meet business needs.
- Streamline the hiring process to reduce time-to-fill and improve candidate experience.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize recruitment strategies.
- Oversee diversity and inclusion initiatives in hiring practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years related experience
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of Federal/State employment law and compliance issues, related to employment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations.
- Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with recruiting, technical recruiting a plus.
- Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills.
- Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software and e-mail applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Meet the requirements to drive Springbrook vehicles as required.
