Job Description:
The Faculty Center for Teaching, Learning & Scholarship at the State University of New York at Oneonta invites applications for the position of Pedagogy Support Specialist. SUNY Oneonta's Pedagogy Support Specialist will join a highly collaborative team of professionals in the Faculty Center for Teaching, Learning & Scholarship who develop programming focused on best pedagogical practices and how they interact with technology and campus priorities.
The successful candidate will serve as a campus expert on the scholarship of teaching and learning, and best practices for pedagogy, andragogy, and academic development support. The candidate will be asked to create, coordinate, and assess training and workshop opportunities throughout the academic year. An ideal colleague would exhibit deep curiosity, a desire for continued professional growth, and display exceptional interpersonal skills that contribute to creating and sustaining an inclusive and collaborative work environment.
