The Department of Residential Experience and Housing at the SUNY Oneonta invites applications for the position of Assistant Director of Housing and Data. The Assistant Director reports directly to the Director of Residence Life and Housing and functions under a flexible work schedule that may include weekend and evening hours. Residence Life and Housing fosters an inclusive environment for growth and learning; provides high quality facilities, services, and programs; and supports student academic success and retention. Our goals are to build a residential program that fosters a spirit of engagement and community among students, staff, and faculty; to foster a sense of belonging to the residential community by student engagement and leadership in governance; to promote student academic success.
The Office of On Campus Housing and Residence Life is under the Residential Experience and Housing
Department, which also houses offices of Move-In, Orientation and Welcome; as well as the Office of
Off Campus and Commuter Students. Our office works closely with many other areas of The University
through committee work, collaboration, and resource sharing. We have residence hall special interest
housing in areas of Wilderness, Wellness, Gaming, Quiet Study, Transfer Living, First Year Experience
and LGBTQIA+.

Duties include but are not limited to:
