The Department of Human Ecology at the State University of New York at Oneonta invites applications for a Temporary Lecturer of Fashion & Textiles with a focus on design beginning Fall 2025. This one-year position is teaching-focused, and expectations include teaching required courses in the Fashion & Textiles curriculum.
The Fashion and Textiles program, housed in the Department of Human Ecology, includes concentrations in design and merchandising, and it also offers a one-year visiting student program with the Fashion Institute of Technology. The Department of Human Ecology offers programs in Human Development & Family Studies, Nutrition & Dietetics, Fashion & Textiles, and Food Service & Restaurant Administration.
