Position Summary
The Mental Health Professional (MHP) is responsible for promoting recovery and wellness, fostering participant engagement, and providing clinical and crisis support services tailored to individual needs. Our program offers a range of mental health, substance use, and related support services in a supportive community-based setting for children, families, and adults. The MHP is expected to maintain current knowledge and develop proficiency in program-recommended Evidence-Based Practices to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.
Clinical Provider Pathway
We offer a tiered professional development model for clinical providers based on education, experience, and licensure status. Each tier reflects a unique stage in a provider’s career journey and outlines opportunities for growth, supervision, and impact.
Tier I - Experienced Bachelor's Level Professionals
Ideal for individuals with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Health, or a related field, and 5+ years of experience in high-risk, crisis-driven mental health environments.
Tier II - Unlicensed or Limited Permit Professionals
Designed for Master’s-level professionals in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related fields who are actively pursuing licensure or hold a limited permit.
Tier III - Entry-Level Licensed Professionals
For those with initial licensure (e.g., LMSW, LMHC without diagnostic privileges, LCAT, or equivalent) who are developing independent clinical practice in co-occurring disorder treatment.
Tier IV - Intermediate Licensed Professionals
Suited for professionals with advanced licensure (e.g., LCSW, LMHC-D, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent) and proven expertise in treating co-occurring disorders.
