Here’s the Gist:
Wolfspeed is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to lead tax accounting under ASC 740 and U.S. Federal and State compliance. Additionally, this role will support and collaborate with Wolfspeed’s team leading its research and investment tax credit initiatives. In this role, you will be a key leader in Wolfspeed’s tax and finance organization.
In this role, you will have primary responsibility over the Company’s quarterly and annual tax provision under ASC 740 including FIN48 and SOX documentation as well as the Company’s outsourced Federal and State income tax compliance and any domestic income tax audits. You will monitor tax law changes and their impact to Wolfspeed as well as support tax planning and mergers and acquisitions. You will support and coordinate with Wolfspeed’s team leading investment tax credit initiatives under Section 48D and 48C as well as the Company’s annual research credit study. The successful candidate is a leader with considerable tax technical knowledge, analytical capability, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities while meeting key deadlines.
