Here’s the Gist:
You will lead the process to comply with 29 CFR 1910.119 & will administer all aspects of the Process Safety Management program.
The Day-to-Day:
Conduct internal audits and provide recommendations for improvement.
Track and report on the PSM metrics. Analyze data to discover trends in PSM performance.
Communicate with trainees and trainers to gauge effectiveness of training program and to identify opportunities for improvement.
Update leadership on PSM program health and communicate any issues that need resolved.
Participate in accident, injury, near-miss, and unsafe conditions investigations. Utilizes the corporate approved Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methods to determine the causes of incidents.
Facilitate PHA's. Work with stakeholders to determine due dates for PHA recommendations, and log recommendations in site action tracking software.
Lead completion of internal compliance audits and program reviews.
Participate in daily Epi production calls, helping to field EHS concerns.
Address recommendations from incident evaluations, process hazard analyses, and compliance audits.
Review Management of Change (MoC) requests. Assign corrective actions based on corporate approval checklists. Lead equipment checkouts and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs).
Work with EHS team members to support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation
