Here’s the Gist:

We want you to apply your relevant expertise to a challenging work environment where you can make a real difference in the day-to-day operations of a high-tech electronics and semiconductor manufacturing operation. As a FOC (Facilities Operations Center) Specialist, you will have an opportunity to play a crucial role in our department’s mission to protect people, equipment and operations by providing excellent customer service and supporting essential facilities functions.

This position is on the night shift.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Monitor building management system and alarms pertaining to Facilities and Life Safety events at multiple locations. Interpret scope of issue(s) and how to respond. Dispatch technicians accordingly.
  • Use best practices to identify, analyze, and support all incidents that are either impactful or potentially impactful to business, employees, and equipment.
  • Maintain visibility of emergency conditions while using established procedures and critical thinking to provide solutions.
  • Maintain various records of communication and events such as incident reports, daily activity reports, historical trends and other logs.
  • Provide general assistance to both employees and guests contacting the FOC with Facilities requests.

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

  • Must have 5 or more years of experience of industrial facility maintenance or similar
  • Ability to handle high pressure situations independently and make clear sound decisions with minimal supervision
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Ability to identify issues and troubleshoot various types of alarms including temperature, humidity, air/water pressures, tank levels etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Strong computer skills (various office and system programs)
  • Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equilvant
