Here’s the Gist:
As the Industrial Facilities Electrical Technician you will be able to perform a high degree of problem identification and troubleshooting assignments and participate effectively in a team environment.

Please note this position will work a compressed day shift (12 hour shift, 3 on-4 off-4 on-3 off).

The Day-to-Day

  • Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems
  • Perform general electrical maintenance and read technical diagrams and blueprints
  • Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices
  • Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

  • High school diploma
  • 5+ years of experience as an electrical technician performing electrical repairs in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, perform troubleshooting/repairs
  • Working knowledge of AC/DC motors and experience with medium voltage up to 34,500 VAC
  • Possess valid US driver’s license to operate motor vehicles.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Ability to work with machinery and moving parts, moving vehicles, ladders, and scaffolding.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces and in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work with repetitive motions and pressure involving fingers, hands, and wrists.
  • Exposure to recurring bending, crouching, stooping, kneeling, sitting, climbing, stretching, or similar activities.
  • Ability to reach at high levels.

The posted salary range is what Wolfspeed reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual pay for a hired applicant will be determined based on the individual’s job-relevant qualifications, experience, and other determinative factors. In the event it is determined that a different job level upon hire is warranted then that range will be communicated to the hired applicant as soon as reasonably practicable.

Compensation Range:

$25.90 - $35.60
