Here’s the Gist:

As the Emergency Response Manager for our Farmer’s Branch, Texas site, you will be responsible for leading an emergency response team that is part of Wolfspeed’s efforts to safeguard the company’s people, property and processes at our new world-class semiconductor manufacturing site located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Lead an on-site Emergency Response Team consisting of single-function emergency response personnel and collateral duty volunteers from across multiple Wolfspeed roles and disciplines
  • Manage all aspects of the emergency preparedness and response program at the company’s Farmer’s Branch, Texas facility, including personnel management and budget
  • Collaborate with global emergency response leadership and other site emergency response managers to develop and implement planning, preparedness, and response programs
  • Support manufacturing and research operations by building relationships with leaders, technicians, and operators across the site to mitigate the impact of emergency incidents
  • Lead the site’s local Crisis Response Team efforts during events adversely impacting operations
  • Establish team goals and evaluate key performance indicators for process improvement

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Six (6) years of emergency response or emergency management leadership experience
  • Hazardous materials response experience
  • Emergency medical technician certification preferred
  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • Strong leadership ability and comfort occupying a high-visibility, high-demand position
