Here’s the Gist:

Wolfspeed Materials R&D is looking for a Electrical Engineer with power supply background. Candidate must apply the principles of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism to identify and define power supply requirements in support of our materials division.

The Day-to-Day:

Design and improvement of electrical products and systems
Design of control systems for complex industrial vacuum furnace equipment
Establishing manufacturing processes for electrical systems
Evaluating systems’ safety, reliability, and performance

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

Bachelor's with 3 years experience, Masters with one year of experience or PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Knowledge of industry standards (NFPA, NEC, CSA, UL)
Have a solid understanding of and ability to work with, analyze and safely test VAC and DC electrical and power and control circuits
Experience in programming Visual Studio.NET, JavaScript, SQL etc.
Experience with PCs, PLCs, I/O, sensors and process controls
This position requires the lawful ability to access technical data, information, and areas controlled by United States export control laws and regulations.

This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.
