Here’s the Gist:

Primary focus for this role is to manage, maintain, monitor, test, deploy, and improve manufacturing applications like Manufacturing Execution system (MES) in a highly secure semiconductor manufacturing environment.

The Day-to-Day :

  • Responsible for the upkeep of multiple manufacturing applications including, but not limited to, Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
  • Perform release management of updates from software vendors by testing and coordination with production business owners for deployment of updates.
  • Develop test plans for proper regression and feature testing of new releases to ensure seamless transitions to new releases.
  • Plan and coordinate testing changes, upgrades, and new services, ensuring systems will operate correctly in current and future environments.
  • Create and maintain user facing and technical documentation for the usage and administration of the systems.
  • Leads and participates in efforts to develop and implement processes for application and system monitoring.
  • Responsible for problem management activities such as issue resolution and root cause analysis
  • Vendor management
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; update the team with the best in class technologies.
  • Protects operations by keeping information confidential.

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements) :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical degree.

  • In Depth knowledge of the semiconductor industry manufacturing applications domain.

  • Excellent in programming in C#.NET, VB.NET, Python, JavaScript, HTML 5 and scripting languages.
  • Experience with Windows Server management (IIS/PowerShell/batch & task management/Server health monitoring etc)
  • Experience with Linux management
  • Project Management skills are required.
  • Good communications and software documentation skills.

  • This position requires the lawful ability to access technical data, information, and areas controlled by United States export control laws and regulations.
