Here’s the Gist:

Primary focus for this role is to manage, maintain, monitor, test, deploy, and improve manufacturing applications like Manufacturing Execution system (MES) in a highly secure semiconductor manufacturing environment.

The Day-to-Day :

Responsible for the upkeep of multiple manufacturing applications including, but not limited to, Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
Perform release management of updates from software vendors by testing and coordination with production business owners for deployment of updates.
Develop test plans for proper regression and feature testing of new releases to ensure seamless transitions to new releases.
Plan and coordinate testing changes, upgrades, and new services, ensuring systems will operate correctly in current and future environments.
Create and maintain user facing and technical documentation for the usage and administration of the systems.
Leads and participates in efforts to develop and implement processes for application and system monitoring.
Responsible for problem management activities such as issue resolution and root cause analysis
Vendor management
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; update the team with the best in class technologies.
Protects operations by keeping information confidential.

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements) :

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
In Depth knowledge of the semiconductor industry manufacturing applications domain.
Excellent in programming in C#.NET, VB.NET, Python, JavaScript, HTML 5 and scripting languages.
Experience with Windows Server management (IIS/PowerShell/batch & task management/Server health monitoring etc)
Experience with Linux management
Project Management skills are required.
Good communications and software documentation skills.
