Here’s the Gist:
Maintain, monitor, test, deploy, and improve enterprise manufacturing applications in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
The Day-to-Day:
Responsible for the upkeep of multiple manufacturing applications including, but not limited to, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Material Control System (MCS).
Perform release management of updates from software vendors by testing and coordination with production business owners for deployment of updates.
Develop test plans for proper regression and feature testing of new releases to ensure seamless transitions to new releases.
Plan and coordinate testing changes, upgrades, and new services, ensuring systems will operate correctly in current and future environments.
Create and maintain user facing and technical documentation for the usage and administration of the systems.
Leads and participates in efforts to develop and implement processes for application and system monitoring.
Responsible for problem management activities such as issue resolution and root cause analysis
Vendor management
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; update the team with the best in class technologies.
Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):
Excellent in programming in C#.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, HTML 5 and scripting languages. Windows Azure and cloud programming is a plus.
Excellent in both Microsoft T-SQL and Oracle PL/SQL development.
Passionate about problem solving and improvement, analyzing information.
Project Management skills are required.
Self-motivated and able to work well with limited direction and supervision
Ability to work well within a team environment
Detail oriented, organized with sense of ownership of area of responsibility
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
Experience with Windows Server management
IIS
PowerShell
batch & task management
Server health monitoring
Experience with Linux management
Bash or equivalent command line shell experience
Cron task scheduling and management
Server health monitoring
File System security
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience with application ownership/administration with mission critical applications, particularly in a 24x7 manufacturing environment.
Experience with Critical Manufacturing MES and Romaric ROMA MD preferred.
Experience working with other major manufacturing systems such as SPC, Quality, Planning and ERP.
Experience working with Automation Control Systems, Factory Equipment Integration, Material Handling Systems.
Experience working with a Virtualized Server Environment.
Having knowledge and experience with writing user testing documents.
Semiconductor Manufacturing Experience with SEMI Standards Tool controls
SEMI Standard: E5, E4/E37, E30, E90, E94/E40, E87, E84
