Here’s the Gist:

This postion is responsible for setting up, calibrating, and carries out preventative maintenance tasks on equipment. Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct on-line equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization. May coach or train other lower level technicians, to develop teamwork, leadership, and technical skills. This postion is in the Materials department within the teams for Polish, Surface Prep, MatSales, or Wafering.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Cross training on multiple tasks is required.
  • Perform calibrations and tool checks and ensure on time completion and maintain tool recipes to control process output.
  • Handle dispositions of non-conforming material and perform special processing of material as requested by Engineering and/or R&D
  • Take on project work supporting the efforts of the departmental engineers and support training efforts with operators and engineers on new tools.
  • Perform IQC on inputs material for the department as well as learning and utilizing software packages to support production (MES, JMP)
