Here’s the Gist:

Experienced semiconductor processing, equipment or application engineers are searched for this multifaceted position. Successful candidates must have hands-on experience in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting semiconductor processing tools such as scrubbers, diffusion ovens, implants, defect inspection and metrology tools, sorters. User level experience of fab-wide systems (SPACE, CMMS, MES) is required. Semiconductor processes understanding is strongly desired. Candidates with excellent communication, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills will be given the utmost priority.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Lead multi-functional projects and teams focusing on sustaining and improving critical fab processes and tools utilization.
  • Lead and participate in new tools installations, designs, and characterizations.
  • Provide expertise for new products and processes rollouts.
  • Establish and leverage relationships across various fab teams.
  • Strategize and prioritize own work and work of reporting technicians.

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

  • Five or more years of semiconductor fab experience in engineering roles.
  • Track records of process and tool improvements.
  • Excellent communication and personal skills.
  • Education: BS, MS, or Ph.D in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
