Here’s the Gist:
Wolfspeed is seeking an enthusiastic and hands-on MES engineer with exceptional organizational, problem solving, and project management skills to join our growing team as a MES Solutions Engineer. You will play a key role in the design, setup and implementation of a the MES system solutions in Wolfspeed’s new Dallas, TX manufacturing facility and support the process and equipment engineering teams to model, configure, and setup Quality Management, Integration & Automation, Operational Efficiency, and eventually APC in the MES and CIM applications.
The Day-to-Day:
- Personally impact and shape the startup and ramp to volume production of Wolfspeed’s new Dallas, TX manufacturing facility based on your ideas, experience and strength in developing and implementing an innovative and robust MES and APC solution.
- Provide unique opportunity to learn, interact and integrate with all supporting groups like equipment and process engineering, manufacturing operations, industrial engineering, automation and facilities.
- Set up and configure a fully integrated and automated MES solution from the ground up.
- Ensure timely, coordinated, and approved system configuration change management including documentation and notification to all stakeholders.
This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):
- BS degree from a four-year college/university in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
- 3+ years’ systems experience integrating highly available environments using the latest Microsoft technologies
- 3+ years’ prior work experience integrating applications through APIs using WebAPI (JSON/REST)
- 3+ years working with a commercial MES system as well as APC solutions at system integration level or similar, experience with central recipe management systems
- Highly proficient with databases and data analysis tools (SQL, Access, Excel, VBA, JMP, etc.)
- Experience in setting up data models and integrated MES, RMS, basic data systems in automated wafer FAB environment
This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.
This role requires the lawful ability to access technical data, information, and areas controlled by United States export control laws and regulations.
This position will be based at the Dallas, TX manufacturing site but will work closely with other Wolfspeed manufacturing sites.
