Here's the Gist:

Wolfspeed’s Global Expansion Team is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Global Scheduling Program Manager with leadership chops and broad experience in managing complex, technical, capital-intensive projects and teams. You’ll lead by engaging with all activities across the company to refine and focus their individual area technical schedules, coach and collaborate with an enterprise perspective to identify dependencies and risks then partner with leadership to provide reporting that reflects comprehensive status vs plan and prioritized risk for decision making and action planning. Your day-to-day will consist of organizing a broad portfolio of activity and building the relationships to facilitate these conversations and managing and maintaining a robust PM platform for reporting and dashboarding.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Establish relationships across various departments to drive cohesive learning and cross functional problem solving.
  • Integrate with technical project teams through routine meetings and stakeholder engagements to collect project scheduling information.
  • Analyze schedules being developed across project teams, challenge project assumptions, find resource constraints, effectively communicate to the teams involved to highlight the issues and collaborate to find solutions.
  • Effectively and efficiently build clear scheduling and reporting products for inclusion in briefings to the Senior Leadership Team and across the company.

This Job is Right for You if You Have:

  • BS in a technical or engineering field.
  • 5+ years’ experience managing projects in construction, manufacturing, technology or similar fields. PMP certification given significant weight when paired with experience in these fields.
  • High-end attention to detail, effective communicator, strong technical writing abilities and excellent presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience beyond “standard” project management such as lengthy track record of high-value projects, enterprise-scale portfolio management or managing technical projects for very complex or very large clients.
  • Construction experience in the Semiconductor Industry or others with similar critical facility requirements is a plus.
