Here’s the Gist:

Wolfspeed is hiring a Senior Project Manager for our Information Technology (IT) Manufacturing Systems team. This person will work with IT and internal business stakeholders to deploy innovative digital solutions related to manufacturing execution systems (MES), automation and controls, new technology and new product development, quality, and supply chain. Projects will range in scale from quick enhancements to large initiatives across Wolfspeed’s global semiconductor business. The ideal candidate has project management experience, a desire to drive digital transformation, strong communication and organizational skills, and a leadership mindset.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Leading and managing manufacturing systems projects of varying scale, connecting functional specifications, technical requirements or business justifications in an entire project or a program
  • Lead the development of solution design, developing Software customizations, extensions using supported technologies to meet client’s requirements, using established best practices to deliver a high quality, reliable and performant software solutions.
  • Participate in the development, deployment, and use of new manufacturing systems suite in the creation of a new connected or “Smart Factory”.
  • Support manufacturing and engineering in converting business requirements into real solutions within our new manufacturing execution system (MES), and other related manufacturing systems.
  • Lead / Participate in business, functional, and user interface design processes for the MES and other related manufacturing systems.
  • Take part in building manufacturing systems portfolio and aligns it to enterprise portfolio with business application needs and objectives.
  • Support Business Unit stakeholder team by developing and monitoring the project KPI’s, resource allocation, deliverables, and manage cross dependencies across projects

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An aptitude for engaging others to resolve obstacles
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering-related discipline
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing operations preferred
