Here’s the Gist:

Wolfspeed is seeking a Cost Accountant within our Corporate Finance group at our corporate headquarters in Durham, NC. This position will report to the Cost Accounting Lead and will perform duties primarily related to the costing, reconciling, and budgeting of inventory related to the Wolfspeed business segment.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Assist with the ERP implementation of SAP S4 HANA.
  • Perform monthly close duties, including booking journal entries and completing Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Support inventory count process in-line with the Company’s policies and procedures.
  • Support internal and external audits of inventory policies and processes.
  • Ad hoc reporting and special projects, primarily related to understanding inventory balances at both a factory and business level to support enhanced business performance.
  • Work with other team member and groups to gain efficiencies and implement process improvements.

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

  • BS/BA degree in Finance or Accounting with 3 years of experience in Accounting & Finance roles
  • 1 year of Cost Accounting experience
  • SAP experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills
  • Excellent analytical and reasoning abilities and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
