Here’s the Gist:
In this role you will perform corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance tasks on semiconductor tools designed to improve/sustain equipment availability, reliability, and maintainability. This position will work a 12-hour day or nightshift with a "3on-4off-4on-3off" alternating schedule (Specific to the Req) 6 am to 6:15pm or 6pm to 6:15am.
This posting is for a position located at Wolfspeed's new Farmer's Branch, Texas Epitaxy Facility. This new site will establish our multi-site epi footprint with initial ramp beginning in late 2024. The person in this role will be permanently assigned to the Farmer's Branch, TX location but should be prepared to report to Wolfspeed's Durham, NC headquarters for on-site training approximately 2-3 times for ~2 weeklong periods.
The Day-to-Day:
Preventative and corrective maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment
Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment according to operating manuals, schematics, blueprints, etc.
Use test and diagnostic equipment to calibrate and diagnose equipment errors.
Collaborate with process engineers, vendors, and manufacturing technicians to improve equipment reliability.
As needed, modifies equipment to improve up-time or overall process performance
This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):
AAS in Electronics Technology or military electronics equivalent
Ability to read and interpret instructions, schematics, and maintenance manuals
Minimum 3 years of equipment corrective and preventative maintenance
This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.
