Here’s the Gist:
Wolfspeed is seeking a Cleanroom Engineer to join the facilities team at our new location in Siler City, NC – the world’s largest silicon carbide materials factory. You will be responsible for cleanroom performance essential to our materials manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have experience and deep understanding of cleanroom design and protocol, as well as experience collecting data, analyzing it, and making informed decisions to improve quality.
The Day-to-Day
Provides engineering support for cleanrooms and related HVAC systems.
Works with colleagues at other Wolfspeed facilities and the global engineering team to develop and implement standards.
Reviews and analyzes cleanroom performance data to ensure systems operate within specification.
Successfully interface with internal customers, subcontractors, and suppliers to sustain uninterrupted factory operations.
Provide project management support for cleanroom and related HVAC equipment. Assist and coordinate with A/E firms during the design process and construction firms and/or its subcontractors.
Ensures best known methods are employed for cleanroom protocol.
Creates job plans and advanced troubleshooting plans to continuously improve cleanroom quality, working with TAB or HVAC trained technicians.
Analyzes test and balance reports, reads and understands key performance data and performs engineering calculations.
This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):
BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology and/or NEBB Certified Professional
Experience in production or laboratory cleanroom facilities.
Knowledge of ISO 14644-1 standards.
Skilled at testing and balancing techniques
Experience with root cause analysis and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.
