Here’s the Gist:
This role will be responsible for defining a strategy and foundation to provide meaningful data visualizations to our Global Planning and Procurement (GPP) organization. In this role you will need both leadership and technical skills to interface directly with our GPP team and technology experts to deliver data visualization solutions to enable informed strategic and tactical business decisions. This position requires strong experience across the Supply Chain domain as well as best practices for data visualizations. As a leader in the organization, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of standardized reports and dashboards to support key business processes. Initially, this role will also perform the execution function while the strategy and team is grown.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Lead discussions on analytics capabilities and collaborate with the GPP organization to identify potential new critical metrics and data extraction/transformation needs. Then partner with IT to turn into execution roadmap and deliver accordingly.
  • Serve as point of contact for successful publication of all GPP visualizations and day-to-day operational support, as well as resolve any issues or answer any queries related to data/methodology
  • Generate both standardized and ad-hoc reports, providing insightful analyses to support informed business decisions.
  • Future: Demonstrate team leadership and be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and directly supervising junior associates or temps to ensure deliverables are being met on time

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

  • 3+ years leading professional level employees
  • Track record of success supporting a fast-paced business organization, providing technical expertise, while applying best practices and leveraging core standard capabilities
  • Robust business acumen (especially in supply chain), strategic thinking skills, and the ability to make informed judgments.
  • Generate both standardized and ad-hoc reports, providing insightful analyses to support informed financial and operational decisions.
  • Self-Starter, Clear Communicator & Adaptable
  • 3+ years’ experience working in a data visualization role, using Power BI
  • Proven track record as a Power BI Developer, with expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
  • Strong understanding of DAX and data modelling concepts
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • SAP working knowledge is a plus
  • Experience with data visualization best practices and techniques
  • Ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in Semiconductor or High-Tech Manufacturing
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities paired with outstanding analytical skills
