This position will coordinate, coach and monitor the performance of employees. This position will also observe the receiving, storage, production and service of food and safety and maintain security of the department.
Supervises the performance of employees to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner and checks out employees at end of shift.
Conducts pre-meal meetings with staff on a routine basis.
Starts meal service on time and follows supervisor checklist/trayline standards including food quality, portions, temperatures, thickened and pureed products and sanitation.
Instructs employees (new and experienced) in the performance of their duties, as necessary.
Updates schedule with employee call-ins, personal leave, etc. using established protocol.
High school diploma and or equivalent.
General knowledge of high school subject matter. Pervious kitchen, retail experience or other related field is helpful.
Must possess previous management or supervisory experience.
