The Senior Practice Manager will oversee the efficient operation of multiple healthcare practices or sites. The individual will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, fostering a positive work environment, and delivering high-quality care to Medical Group patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare management, with a focus on optimizing workflow processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing patient satisfaction.

Core Job Responsibilities

Leadership:

Support and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the overall performance and growth of the healthcare practices.

Operational Management:

Oversee operations and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Responsible for policy development, revision, communication and training.

Financial Management:

Manage budgetary planning, financial reporting, and revenue cycle management to achieve financial targets and optimize revenue streams.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, standards, and policies, including HIPAA, OSHA, and CMS guidelines.

Quality Assurance:

Participates in the development of quality improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of patient care and satisfaction, including monitoring outcomes and implementing corrective measures when indicated.

Staff Development:

Responsible for the training and supervision of staff members and management, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional development.
In partnership with leadership and Human Resources, make decisions or recommendations related to performance management, hiring, transfers, corrective actions, terminations, etc. Resolve staff issues and grievances in a fair, timely and consistent manner, also in partnership with HR.

Technology Integration:

Identify and implement innovative systems to streamline operations, improve patient engagement, and enhance the delivery of healthcare services.
Support new technology implementation with Information Technology

Collaboration:

Collaborate with healthcare providers, administrators, and external stakeholders to promote interdisciplinary teamwork and achieve organizational goals.

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.

Community Engagement:

Build and maintain positive relationships with patients, community.

Performs related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements

REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare, a related degree or equivalent experience.
5 years of experience in medical group practice management
Comprehensive knowledge of medical office operational concepts and principles.
Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
