Job Summary
Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established Family Medicine team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative outpatient setting alongside experienced physicians and fellow APPs. Education/Experience Requirements
REQUIRED:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program OR certification from an accredited NP program OR completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
- Ability to meet and maintain credentialing requirements and hospital priviledges.
- Knowledge and competency in a wide range of clinical areas.
- Familiar with EHR/EMR software.
Licensure/Certification Requirements
REQUIRED:
- Current NYS Nurse Practitioner licenses OR Current NYS license as a Physician Assistant with prescription privileges.
- Current BCLS, ACLS certifications.
PREFERRED:
- Active ANCC certification in relevant specialty
